  • "I'm too pretty to die!"

Jamie is a laid back, snobby individual (a true slacker), who lives in New Jersey and "helps" Coop and Kiva in their struggle against the Glorft, and other times he creates the problem. When not he is trying to hit on girls and get laid.

Biography[]

Coop's best friend and slacker partener.  Jamie and Coop do almost everything together and have been friends since they were in elementary school. Jamie's contribution to the team is usually to point out the danger first ( he possess a talent for noticing the obvious and awareness of common sense which other characters lack), In combat, Jamie usually hides under the seats in the car, while Megas fights, and gives extremely cowardly advice and screams. He is capable to use a bat to defend himself from bugs, but he is better with it at knocking Kiva out (not in the good way). He also has shown to be a good driver in "The Fat and the Furious" evading Glorft on a moped and in "Dude Where's My Head?" driving Coop's car. He managed to "defeat" the Kurdock, but he can drive a mech without falling down at all. Jamie would rather use Megas for his own purporses such as getting rich (busting Fort Knox) or become powerful (watching wresting fights as a king, or enslaving Kiva or Coop, blowing a planet because their present wasn't good enough). He doesn't like the fact that Kiva milks the fact that they need to save the future with Megas Jamie also tries to hit on girls (mostly fails) and  he usually tries to pass himself off as a, "ladies man" and usually ditches Coop and Kiva to flirt with women, aliens or not. The end result usually ends with physical pain for Jamie often gets slapped in the face. He has funny daydreams of him being surrounded by money and girls but none of this ever comes to pass. Jamie usually is seen on Coop's couch or the front seat of the car, reading a magazine, where his imagination takes him into a different place, where he is in power, and Coop and Kiva are under his control.

Personality[]

Jamie is a very laid back individual, he is relatively calm, and unlike Coop and Kiva, tries to avoid conflict. He is often cowardly (to his defense, he is very weak compared with them) and when faced with danger, he will rather jump and scream at the danger itself. Despite that he still prefers to stay in the front seat, because he is used to it, and it also annoys Kiva. However there are times when he showed notable courage (Such as in "Dude:  Where's My Head" and "Ultra-Chicks"). And is very possible for him to change if motivated enough, as seen with his alternate counterpart in the Mirror, Mirror universe. He digs cheerleaders (regular or vampire) and chicks (ranging from human to alien). It is very possible that he was neglected by his parents, and he sees the getting laid as a way to fill that void. His hatred for Kiva could be a natural response to defend Coop so he won't be taken away from him (as said in The Driver's Seat he said that Coop is his only buddy). This hatred could potentially be feelings towards Kiva, which however, are usually hidden under a guise of cowardice

Apparance[]

Jamie is a surprisingly attractive guy for someone who doesn't get girls. He is a Caucasian man (his skin is quite pale) in his very early twenties. He wears a blue hat, black hair.  He wears a green sweatshirt, with a black leather jacket .  Fitting slim blue jeans, and black shoes with white laces and detail on them.  He in the pilot Lowbrow he had a bigger earning on his left ear.

Relationships[]

Harold Cooplowski - Coop and Jamie go back to when they were in elementary school. The two usually were at Coop's house playing video games, or just Coop playing the games while Jamie watched. The two are the best of friends, and show great concern when one is in danger, Jaime tries his best to help Coop but fails (often not showing up), Coop usually is the one who manages to save him. Coop even got the attention of a girl, in order to help Jaime get laid as well as to let him borrow the car (despite the flashbacks with him not showing up at need) . When Jaime was "captured" by the Ultra Cadets he showed great concern for Jaime (imagining not being supported by Jaime while eating). Despite that Coop does acknowlegde that Jaime is a lazy coward who screams like a girl, ( in DMV:Departament of Megas Violations he told the DMV driving coach to stop screaming like a girl), thinking he was Jaime "Stop screaming like JAIME!"

Kiva Andru - He and Kiva almost never get along, usually with Kiva remarking on how immature he acts, and Jamie usually tries to make her look like a fool in numerous ways, including giving her brain freeze via slushies, or making her dress up in inappropriate clothing. Kiva does get back at him when she gets the change. Like beating him up when she found out he knocked her out, or to point out he is weak and cowardly, in The Return she pointed out that Magnanimous almost killed HIM only. However Kiva still wanted to go with Jaime to the mall even if he tried to make her look like a fool. Both even worked together in season one finale The Driver's Seat to get Megas to Groft ship to save Coop and at the end their did the rock sign together and smiled at each other. As seen in the series finale Rearview Mirror, Mirror Part 2 it is possible that both end up as a couple together as a couple.

Goat - Jamie and Goat don't talk much but when they do it's usually about women (Goat once told Jaime that in order to get girls he needs to be a jerk and only talk about himself) or they are mocking each other. When they first encountered Varrsin Jaime told Goat that he is even creepier than him, which Goat agreed at first until he snapped and was offended by it.

Gina - Jaime showed interest for her, but not until Coop helped him out he actually got a change to talk to her. She liked Coop's car but Jamie said it was his (Jamie asked Coop for the keys so they could go for a drive) She taught in some moments he was a creep but still enjoyed talking with him. Things seemed to be going well until the Mecha Megas showed up and when Jaime had to rush in to save Coop she was scared. After that Coop fighting made her puke alongside Jaime, Kiva said that ("it seems these two are made for each other")

Duchess - Jamie has expressed great interest in Duchess everytime to pair meet. Like many girls before her, Duchess has refused his affections at every turn. He displayed great consern for her when he tought Coop killed the S-Force, he showed just for her.

Ultra Cadets - after Jaime lied to them that he is Megas's pilot (Coop) all of them tought that he was super cute. They admired Jaime and his totally "real hero stories". They encouraged him to go face the beast after they gave him a mech to fight. All until in order to save his friends life he had to reveal the truth that he is not Coop... The Cadets were greatly disappointed and asked him to leave and to not come back.

Ally - Jaime showed interest in her like any girl before but this time Ally showed some interest too. After triping on his leg while hiding, she made a friendly sarcastic comment "Hiding sounds like a good plan" accompanied by a friendly smile, they both got caught as victims of love. Jaime also was very intrigued to be Kiva ancestor.

Skippy - Jamie and Skippy do not get along. Skippy is generally rude to Jamie everytime they meet, usually resulting in Jamie thinking of mean ways to get rid of him

Books read throughout the series[]

  1. "Planet of the Space Amazons" (Battle Royale)
  2. "Moron guide to pick up space chicks". (Ultra Chicks)

  • He is the prime target of mockery and physical abuse in the show.
  • Jamie has all of two Pet the Dog moments in the entire series. It is often implied that he brings absolutely nothing to the table in his friendship with Coop, and that he has no skills of his own, yet despite that he is a jerk with a superiority complex who insults his comrades, hits on women, and schemes for his own profit.
  • Despite his downsides, Coop and Kiva still consider him a good friend.
  • Whenever there is a bad guy around, he will scream in terror while Coop and Kiva work to solve the problem.
  • He tends to be the one commenting about the inanity of their situation or the enemies whenever he's not afraid.
  • While Coop usually thinks about food, Jamie fantasies about this, sometimes he actually gets one, such as in the second episode but with alien girls.
  • Every episode he has wet dreams about girls and money
